EAST FORK HOUSE SULA, MONTANA A MONTANA CABIN NEXT TO THE BITTERROOT RIVER
|
East Fork House is located smack dab on the banks of the East Fork of the Bitterroot River,
very near the route of the famous Lewis and Clark trail in the heart of Southwest Montana
hunting and fishing country. Whether you choose to hike the nearby mountain trails filled
with wildlife, go fly fishing just out the back door, take a jacuzzi with a glass of wine on the
back deck with a view of the mountains and the river or take a nap with the sound of the
river lulling you to sleep, your Montana Vacation will be complete with a stay at East Fork
House.
Area activities include: fishing, horseback riding, downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking,
river rafting, bird watching, snowmobiling, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, antiquing and
historic sightseeing.
The river receives very little fishing pressure in this area and teems with wild trout that
readily take dry flies most of the year. Big game abounds in the surrounding forest and it is
not unusual to see Deer or Big Horn Sheep in the front yard in the evening or in the early
morning hours. Sometimes even an Elk or A Moose may wander into the yard.
East Fork House is a 5 bedroom, 3 bath log home, complete with a front porch and back
deck on the river, which will comfortably accommodate up to eight to ten people with five
twin beds, one double bed and one bath upstairs, one queen size bed and adjoining bath
and one king size bed and adjoining bath downstairs.
The house is fully furnished, with linens, towels, etc., 3 Sat. T.V.'s, DVD & CD player, a full
kitchen, with dishes, glasses, cook & silver ware, blender, mixer, basic condiments, full
laundry, hot tub on the back deck overlooking the river and weber charcoal grill. It has both
propane & electric heat.
All you really need to bring with you is your clothing, recreational gear and food.
